We successfully conducted a one-day training program on the “Prohibition of Child Marriage” in collaboration with SIPRD Khanapara. The program was held in six senior secondary schools and colleges across Darrang district with the support of SIPRD funding. Nearly 2,000 participants, including students and teachers, took part in the sessions designed to raise awareness about the legal, social, and emotional consequences of child marriage. Through interactive discussions and awareness activities, participants learned about child protection laws and practical steps to prevent early marriage in their communities. The enthusiastic participation of youth and educators demonstrated a strong community commitment to ending child marriage and building a safer, more equitable future for all children.
